Regional Instructor Training Activity on Mapping and Updating of Work Areas Population SP2020

On March 13-15, 2019, BPS - Statistics of Kalimantan Timur Province held a Regional Instructor Training Activity on Mapping and Updating of Work Areas Population Census Statistics 2020. This activity was attended by 23 participants from the Regency / Municipality BPS and opened by Ir. Atqo Mardiyanto M.Sc., Head of BPS - Statistics of Kalimantan Timur Province. On this occasion, he said that this training activity was the "starting point" of the 2020 Population Census (SP2020). He also said that one of the efforts in achieving quality data is the availability of the latest framework of statistical work areas. The master framework made by BPS so far consists of maps and census block loads (BS). To complete the various methods that will be used in the next census and survey, the parent framework will be supplemented with information on the Local Environment Unit (SLS). Thus, the method of activities in the 2019 Mapping is somewhat different from the activities of mapping and updating the contents of the statistical work area (Wilkerstat) that have been carried out previously. On the third day of training, he also took the time to directly monitor the implementation of "role playing" in the area around the training site.
