BPS-Statistics of East Kalimantan Province Held 2020' Data For Development Acceleration FGD

In the spirit of realizing the bureaucratic reform, BPS-Statistics Indonesia continues to improve. One recommendation for bureaucratic reform is that BPS can provide quality data to users easily and quickly. Meanwhile, current conditions showed that the availability of BPS' data is considered to be slow, especially in terms of providing data for regional government implementation reports & regional development planning.

Following up on this, BPS will accelerate the provision of BPS' data, starting this year. One of them is through the acceleration of the presentation of priority data in the Regions in Figures publication. At the Provincial level, in this case referred to Province in Figures, it is scheduled to be published on February 28, 2020 from the original release date August 2020.

Bearing in mind that the data presented in the Province in Figures also includes data from the relevant Departments and Agencies, BPS-Statistics of Kalimantan Timur Province today (13/2) held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) for Accelerating Regional Development Planning Data and Main Sectoral Statistics Indicators. Located in the Sigma Room of BPS-Statistics of Kalimantan Timur Province, the event was opened by the Head of Administration Section, Mr Nur Wahid. In his remarks, he said that the FGD was aimed to inform the acceleration of the publication of Province in Figures publications to the sectoral data providers. It is hoped that through this activity, the Departments and Agencies, which act as data providers, can quickly provide the requested sectoral data so that the accelerated publications can be published on time, and thus easily obtained by data users.
