BPS Kaltim Conducts Training for Instructors for Regsosek 2022 Data Processing

November 9, 2022 | BPS Activities

In the midst of carrying out the 2022 Socio-Economic Registration (Regsosek) data collection, BPS-Statistics of Kalimantan Timur Province held an Instructors Training on for Regsosek 2022 Data Processing. Located at the Platinum Balikpapan Hotel, this activity was held for two (2) effective days, which took place from 9 to 10 November 2022. This activity was attended by 30 people as follows: 2 national instructors, 20 participants from regency/municipal BPS office, 5 regional instructors from provincial BPS office, 1 observer from the Communication and Informatics Office of Kalimantan Timur Province, and 2 committee members.

This activity was opened directly by the Head of BPS-Statistics of Kalimantan Timur Province, Dr. Yusniar Juliana. In her remarks, she said that this training needed to be carried out in order to equate perceptions. This equated perception cannot be underestimated because each regency/municipal office operates in a different area and produces its own data. With the equated perception, data that will be received from different regency/municipal offices can later be combined into one unit. She also advised the instructors to choose 'mitra' who are committed and willing to work according to SOP. "And maybe it is necessary to set a daily target so that the data processing aspect can be finished according to the schedule", she added. She also expressed her hope that the technical and administrative aspects of this activity could run in harmony. She closed her remarks with a message to always maintain communication between regency/municipal office and the provincial office so that if some problems encountered, solutions can be quicky found.
