BPS-Statistics of Kalimantan Timur Province Beautiful Village Socialization

BPS-Statistics of Kalimantan Timur Province conducted socialization about Beautiful Village in an FGD with local government officials and development partners organized by Kalimantan Forest (Kalfor) as a facilitator. In his speech, Phantom Priyandoko, Kalfor Regional Facilitator for the Kalimantan Timur region said that the big goal of Kalfor is to protect forested areas outside the forest area. This will very closely related to village development and the movement of village community activities.

On this occasion, chief Statistician of Kalimantan Timur Province, Mr represented by the head of General Affairs, Maibu Barwis Sugiharto

expressed the same thing, namely that more than 30 percent of villages

in Kalimantan Timur it is in the forest and/or around the area forests, so that community activities, especially in terms of livelihoods closely related to the existence of forests.
