BPS East Kalimantan Province released inflation indicators, export and import developments, transportation, tourism on August 1, 2024. One of the releases related to the highest star classification hotel Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) in June 2024 was recorded in East Kalimantan Province. East Kalimantan's star hotel TPK reached 70.20 percent. This means that during June 2024 the average number of rooms used each night in all star hotels in East Kalimantan was 70.20 percent of the total number of rooms available. Meanwhile, the TPK of non-star classification hotels in East Kalimantan reached 27.19 percent. This was driven by the implementation of the XVII APEKSI 2024 Rakernas and the groundbreaking of the construction of the Nusantara Capital City.
