INFLATION OF KALIMANTAN TIMUR MONTH APRIL 2008

Abstract

Kalimantan Timur in April 2008 experienced an inflation of 0.63 percent, or there was an Increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 166.80 in March 2008 to 167.85 in April 2008. With this inflation rate, the inflation rate for calendar year 2008 (January-April 2008) Kalimantan Timur has reached 4.52 percent and the 'year on year' inflation rate (April 2008 to April 2007) has reached 11.89 percent.
Samarinda City experienced inflation of 0.55 percent and Balikpapan City experienced inflation of 0.72 percent. Thus, for these two cities, the inflation rate inflation rate in calendar year 2008 (January-April 2008) has reached 4.55 and 4.50 percent and the year on year inflation rate (April 2008-April 2007) respectively reached 12.64 and 11.02 percent.
