Abstract

The value of Kalimantan Timur exports in December 2011 reached US $ 3.41 billion or decreased by 1.14 percent compared to the value of exports in November 2011.

The value of oil and gas exports in December 2011 reached US $ 1.57 billion, down 3.02 percent compared to the value of oil and gas exports in November 2011, while the value of non oil and gas exports in December 2011 was only US $ 1.84 billion, an increase of 0.52 percent compared to the value of Non-Oil and Gas exports in November 2011.

According to the Goods Group (HS 2 Digits), mineral fuels still play a very dominant role in the formation of Kalimantan Timur exports in January-December 2011 reaching 95.06 percent or US $ 36.33 billion.

According to destination countries, exports to Japan in January-December 2011 reached the largest figure of US $ 12.54 billion, followed by China (including Taiwan) at US $ 9.10 billion and the Republic of Korea at US $ 6.30 billion with the contribution of the three reached 73.10 percent.
