CONSUMER TENDENCY INDEX OF KALIMANTAN TIMUR QUARTER II, 2012

The Kalimantan Timur Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) in Quarter II / 2012 was 110.63, an increase of 1.83 points compared to the previous quarter's ITK of 108.80. This increase was supported by the ITK forming variables which experienced a significant increase. Table 1 shows the household income index reached 110.53. The picture of rising revenue in the second quarter was mainly triggered by the continued planning activities of the first quarter which began to be realized in the Second Quarter which had an impact on increasing the people's income.

Another factor driving the ITK is the low level of inflation in Kalimantan Timur that occurred in Q2 / 2012. With a fairly low inflation rate of 0.38 percent, the level of Kalimantan Timur community spending on daily food consumption and non-food consumption has increased.
