Abstract

The economy of Kalimantan Timur based on the GRDP based on current prices in the second quarter of 2012 reached Rp 108.1 trillion (with oil and gas) or Rp 71.0 trillion (without oil and gas). While the GRDP at constant 2000 prices reaches Rp. 30.0 trillion (with oil and gas) or Rp. 20.8 trillion (without oil and gas).

Kalimantan Timur economic growth in the second quarter of 2012 compared to the first quarter of 2012 (qto-q) reached 0.14 percent, slower than the previous quarter which amounted to 1.43 percent. While the growth in the second quarter of 2012 compared to the same quarter the previous year ( y-on-y) by 5.41 percent, higher than the second quarter of 2011 which grew by 3.28 percent.
