INFLATION OF KALIMANTAN TIMUR IN MONTH SEPTEMBER 2012

Abstract

Kalimantan Timur in September 2012 experienced a deflation of -0.50 percent, or there was a change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 146.63 in August 2012 to 145.91 in September 2012. So until September 2012 Inflation in the calendar year 2012 reached 5.13 percent, while year-on-year inflation in Kalimantan Timur reached 5.39 percent.
When broken down by city, in September 2012 all three cities experienced deflation, Tarakan City was -0.26 percent, Samarinda City was -0.56 percent, and Balikpapan City experienced Deflation of -0.51 percent. So that until September the calendar year inflation of Tarakan City is 4.90 percent, Samarinda City reaches 4.59 percent, and Balikpapan City is 5.87 percent, and year on year inflation of each city is 8.08 percent; 4.38 percent; and 5.67 percent.
