Abstract

Kalimantan Timur experienced a 0.57 percent inflation in February 2013, or there was a change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 149.06 in January 2012 to 149.91 in February 2013. So that until February 2013 the Kalimantan Timur calendar inflation reached 2 , 29 percent, while inflation year on year 6.03 percent.

When broken down by city, in February 2013, Samarinda City experienced inflation of 0.68 percent, Balikpapan City 0.54 percent and Tarakan City 0.28 percent. As of February 2013, Samarinda City calendar inflation reached 2.78 percent, Balikpapan City 1.64 percent and Tarakan City 2.45 percent. While year-on-year inflation in Samarinda City was 5.89 percent, Balikpapan City 6.19 percent, and Tarakan 6.06 percent.
