Abstract

The economy of Kalimantan Timur based on the amount of GRDP at current prices in Quarter III / 2013 reached Rp 104.2 trillion (with oil and gas) or Rp 70.1 trillion (without oil and gas). While the GRDP at constant 2000 prices reached Rp 30.3 trillion (with oil and gas) or Rp. 22.1 trillion (without oil and gas).

The economy of Kalimantan Timur in Quarter III / 2013 compared to Quarter II / 2013 (q-to-q) experienced a contraction of minus 0.28 percent, lower than the previous quarter which grew positively by 0.31 percent. While the growth of Quarter III / 2013 compared to the same quarter of the previous year (y-on-y) reached a positive 1.77 percent, but not as fast as the growth of Quarter III / 2012 which amounted to 2.51 percent.
