Abstract

In March 2014,  Kalimantan Timur experienced an inflation of 0.17 percent, or there was a change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 113.16 in February 2014 to 113.35. So that until March 2014 calendar year inflation was 1.25 percent and year on year inflation reached 8.45 percent.
  • When broken down by city, in March 2014 Samarinda City experienced an inflation of 0.17 percent, Balikpapan City experienced a deflation of -0.10 percent and the City of Tarakan experienced an inflation of 0.99 percent. As of March 2014 Samarinda City calendar year inflation was 1.22 percent, Balikpapan City 1.04 percent and Tarakan City 2.02 percent. Year on year inflation in Samarinda City reached 8.81 percent, Balikpapan City 7.32 percent and Tarakan City 9.88 percent.
