Abstract

Production of large fresh chilies with stems in 2013 amounted to 6,471 tons. Compared to 2012, there was an increase in production of 1,110 tons (20.70 percent). This increase was due to an increase in productivity of 0.79 tons per hectare (19.55 percent) and an increase in harvested area of 12.00 hectares (0.90 percent) compared to 2012.

The production of fresh cayenne pepper with stems in 2013 was 7,251 tons. Compared to 2012, there was an increase in production of 82 tons (1.15 percent). This increase was due to an increase in productivity of 0.20 tons per hectare (5.08 percent) even though the harvested area had decreased by 67 hectares (3.69 percent) compared to 2012.

The production of onion tubers with leaves in 2013 was 46 tons. Compared to 2012, production decreased by 30 tons (39.20 percent). This decrease was caused by a decrease in productivity of 1.70 tons per hectare (25.66 percent) and harvested area of 2 hectares (18.18
