Abstract

The Exchange Rate of Farmers in Kalimantan Timur Province in November was recorded at 100.25 or decreased by -0.54% percent when compared to the October 2014 NTP which was recorded at 100.80. For NTP per subsector in Kalimantan Timur in November 2014 including the Exchange Rate of Food Crop Farmers (NTPP) was recorded at 95.21; Horticultural Farmer Exchange Rates (NTPH) 97.36; Exchange Rate of Farmers in Smallholder Plantations (NTPR) 104.85; Farmer Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPT) 103.33 and Farmer Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPN) 100.69.

The decline in NTP in November 2014 was -0.54% occurred in three sub-sectors namely the NTPP subsector decreased by -1.31%, the NTPT subsector was -0.55% and the NTPN subsector was -1.62%. While the subsectors that experienced an increase were NTPH by 0.26% and the NTPR subsector by 0.07%.

In general, the decline in FTT was influenced by the price index received by farmers (IT), which only increased by 1.07% less than the price index paid by farmers (Ib) which increased by 1.62%.
