Consumer Tendency Index of Kalimantan Timur Province in Second Quarter 2017

The economic condition of consumers in Kalimantan Timur Province in the second quarter of 2017 increased as indicated by the increase in the value of the Consumer Tendency Index to 106.68. The improvement in consumer economic condition in the second quarter of 2017 was due to an increase in all components of the index, namely the increase in income and consumption of goods / services, and the inflation rate was not influenced by the level of consumption. In addition, the value of ITK rose by 6.33 points indicating that in the second quarter of 2017 the level of consumer optimism increased when compared to last quarter.

The value of ITK of Kalimantan Timur Province in quarter III-2017 is estimated at 101.71. The magnitude of the index indicates that the economic condition of consumers in the upcoming period has increased, but the level of optimism decreased when compared to the second quarter of 2017.
