Economy of Kalimantan Timur Province Quarter III-2019 grew 6.89 percent (y-on-y) and grew 1.48 percent (q-to-q)

Abstract

Kalimantan Timur Province Economy Quarter III-2019 as measured by Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices reached Rp 164.42 trillion and based on 2010 constant prices reached Rp 123.05 trillion.
The economy of Kalimantan Timur Quarter III-2019 against Quarter III-2018 grew by 6.89 percent (y-on-y), higher than the achievements of Quarter III-2018 which grew by 1.83 percent. From the production side, the highest growth y-on-y was achieved by the Mining and Quarrying Business Field which grew by 11.46 percent. In terms of Expenditures, the highest growth was in the Foreign Export component of 15.94 percent.
Economy of Kalimantan Timur Quarter III-2019 compared to Quarter II-2019 grew by 1.48 percent (q-to-q). From the production side, the highest q-to-q growth in Quarter III-2019 was achieved by the growing Construction Business Field by 6.81 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth occurred in the Government Consumption Expenditure component of 9.92 percent.
The economy of Kalimantan Timur cumulatively from Quarter I to Quarter III-2019 against Quarter I to Quarter III-2018 grew by 5.93 percent (c-to-c).
