Consumer Economic Conditions Improving, Marked With An Index Value Of 107.59

Abstract

The economic condition of consumers in the province of Kalimantan Timur in Quarter IV-2019 experienced a quite high increase marked by the value of the Consumer Tendency Index of 107.59
The improvement in consumer economic conditions in Quarter IV-2019 was due to an increase in the three components that formed the CTI
Quarterly CTI figures IV-2019 (107.59) are quite far above the quarterly CTI figures III-2019 (96.27) which means a fairly high increase in consumer optimism
It is estimated that the economic conditions of consumers in the first quarter of 2020 to be increased slightly compared to the current quarter, forecasted by the CTI value of 102.05. The household income component is estimated to be increased, although it will not be accompanied by an increase in the purchase plan for durable goods, forecasted by the value of CTI which is estimated to be above 100
