January 2020 Exports Reach US $ 1.24 Billion, Imports Reach US $ 216.26 Million

The export value of Kalimantan Timur Province in January 2020 reached US $ 1.24 billion or decreased by 8.65 percent compared to exports in December 2019. Meanwhile, when compared to January 2019 it decreased by 13.90 percent.

The value of oil and gas exports in January 2020 reached US $ 146.84 million, down 32.26 percent compared to December 2019. While exports of non-oil and gas goods in January 2020 reached US $ 1.10 billion, down 4.18 percent compared to December 2019.

The value of oil and gas exports in January 2020 compared to January 2019 decreased by 34.60 percent, while the value of non-oil goods exports decreased by 10.09 percent.

Of all exports in the January 2020 period, the role of oil and gas goods exports reached 11.81 percent while the role of non-oil goods exports reached 88.19 percent.

The import value of Kalimantan Timur Province in January 2020 reached US $ 216.26 million or decreased by 37.47 percent compared to imports in December 2019. Meanwhile, when compared to January 2019 it decreased by 16.78 percent.

Imports of oil and gas goods in January 2020 reached US $ 116.75 million, down 53.77 percent compared to December 2019. While imports of non-oil and gas goods in January 2020 reached US $ 99.51 million, up by 6.59 percent compared to December 2019.

The import value of oil and gas goods in January 2020 compared to January 2019 decreased by 13.46 percent, while the value of imported non-oil goods dropped by 20.36 percent. Of all imports in the January 2020 period, the role of oil and gas goods imports reached 53.99 percent while the role of non-oil goods imports reached 46.01 percent.

The trade balance of Kalimantan Timur Province in January 2020 was a surplus of US $ 1.03 billion, an increase compared to the trade balance in December 2019 which was a surplus of US $ 1.01 billion. The trade balance of Kalimantan Timur Province in January 2020 decreased compared to the trade balance in the same period in 2019 which was a surplus of US $ 1.18 billion.
