Abstract

The economy of the Province of  Kalimantan Timur Quarter II-2020 as measured by Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices reached Rp 149.16 trillion and based on constant 2010 prices reached Rp 114.25 trillion.
  • The economy of  Kalimantan Timur Quarter II-2020 against Quarter II-2019 decreased by minus 5.46 percent (y-on-y), in contrast to the achievements of Quarter II-2019 which grew by 5.06 percent. From the production side, the highest growth y-on-y was achieved by the Electricity and Gas Procurement Business Sector which grew by 9.09 percent. From the expenditure side, the highest growth occurred in the Gross Fixed Capital Formation Component of 0.79 percent.
  • Kalimantan Timur economy in the second quarter of 2020 compared to the first quarter of 2020 fell by minus 6.53 percent (q-to-q). From the production side, the highest q-to-q growth in Quarter II-2020 was achieved by the Health Services and Social Activities Business Field which grew by 3.74 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth occurred in the Government Consumption Expenditure Component of 17.81 percent.
  • Economy of Kalimantan Timur  Semester I-2020 compared to Semester I-2019 decreased by minus 2.10 percent (c-to-c).
