In May 2022, the TPK for five-star hotels was recorded at 62.54 percent, while the number of domestic air transportation passengers in May 2022 rose 12.47 percent.

Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in Kalimantan Timur Province in May 2022 was recorded at 62.54 percent, this figure has increased by 11.24 points compared to the TPK in April 2022.
The total length of stay of guests in five-star hotels in May 2022 reached 1.59 days. The average length of stay for foreign guests is 3.03 days, while the average length of stay for domestic guests is 1.58 days.
During the month of May 2022 there were no foreign tourists visiting Kalimantan Timur.
The number of domestic air transport passengers who departed in May 2022 was 192,707 people, an increase of 12.47 percent compared to April 2022. Meanwhile, there were no recorded passengers for overseas (international) destinations departed.
The number of domestic sea transport passengers who departed in May 2022 was recorded at 32,598 people, a decrease of 32.68 percent compared to April 2022.
