September 2024, Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in Kalimantan Timur Province will be 2.16 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Berau Regency at 3.34 percent.

Abstract

In September 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Kalimantan Timur Province will be 2.16 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.69. The highest inflation occurred in Berau Regency at 3.34 percent with a CPI of 106.67 and the lowest occurred in North Penajam Paser Regency at 1.73 percent with a CPI of 105.99.
Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in most expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 4.67 percent; clothing and footwear group at 2.37 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.34 percent; health group at 5.57 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 1.60 percent; education group by 1.71 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 1.48 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 5.01 percent. On the other hand, the expenditure groups that experienced a decline in the index were: supplies, equipment and routine household maintenance by 0.20 percent; transportation group by 0.40 percent; information, communication and financial services group at 0.41 percent.
On a month to month (m-to-m) basis, there will be an increase in the price index (inflation) in September 2024 of 0.06 percent. Meanwhile, year to date (y-to-d), in September 2024 inflation will be 1.24 percent.

August 2024, Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in East Kalimantan Province will be 2.13 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Berau Regency at 2.64 percent.

The Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in March 2025 was 1.36 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Berau Regency at 1.71 percent.

The Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in October 2024 was 1.75 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Berau Regency at 3.54 percent.

The Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in March 2024 was 3.03 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Berau Regency at 4.05 percent.

Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in East Kalimantan Province amounted to 2.18 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Berau Regency at 2.58 percent
