Abstract

  • The Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of star-rated hotels in Kalimantan Timur in October 2024 was recorded at 72.74 percent, an increase of 2.43 points compared to September 2024. Meanwhile, compared to the ROR in October 2023, the ROR in October 2024 experienced an increase of 10.35 points.
  • The average length of stay for guests at star-rated hotels in October 2024 reached 1.73 days. The average length of stay for foreign guests was 2.57 days, while the average length of stay for domestic guests was 1.72 days.
  • During the month of October 2024, there were 402 foreign tourist visits to East Kalimantan. Compared to the previous month, the number of foreign tourist visits in October 2024 decreased by 20.24 percent.
  • The visits by foreign tourists entering Kalimantan Timur were all by air transport or through SAMS Sepinggan Airport.
