The number of domestic air transportation passengers increased by 17.17 percent and the number of sea transportation passengers increased by 231.65 in March 2025 compared to February 2025.

Abstract

The number of domestic air transportation passengers departing in March 2025 was 251,244 people, an increase of 17.17 percent from February 2025. Meanwhile, the number of passengers for overseas (international) destinations was 4,224 people, decrease of 12.66 percent from February 2025.
The number of domestic air passengers departing in January–March 2025 increased by 13.75 percent compared to the same periode in 2024. Meanwhile, in January–March 2025 the number of international passengers showing an increase of 47.41 percent.
The number of domestic sea transportation passengers departing in March 2025 was recorded at 81,849 people, increase of 231.65 percent from February 2025. In January–March 2025, the number of passengers increased by 137,032 people, increased of 36.68 percent compared to January–March 2024.
The number of goods transported in March 2025 increased by 4.20 percent from February 2025 to 8,990.67 thousand tons. In January–March 2025, the amount of goods transported reached 25,480,06 thousand tons.

The number of domestic air transportation passengers decreased by 11.90 percent and the number of sea transportation passengers decreased by 19.10 percent in February 2025.

The number of domestic air transportation passengers in April 2024 increased by 44.26 percent compared to March. Sea transportation passengers in April 2024 increased by 87.41 percent compared to March.

Compared to the previous month, in December 2023, the number of domestic air transportation passengers increased by 11.37 percent and for sea transportation passengers increased by 34.66 percent.

The number of domestic air transportation passengers in March 2024 increased by 1.16 percent compared to the previous month. The number of sea transportation passengers in March 2024 increased by 53.

The number of domestic air transportation passengers in October 2023 increased by 8.45 percent compared to the previous month. The number of sea transportation passengers in October 2023 increased by 2.56 percent compared to the previous month
