Abstract

The number of foreign tourist visits in May 2025 reached 877 visits. This figure increased by 10.73 percent compared to April 2025. Meanwhile, compared to May 2024, it rose by 321.63 percent.
The number of domestic tourist (wisnas) trips in May 2025 reached 2,390 trips. This figure decreased by 37.61 percent compared to April 2025. Conversely, it increased by 179.53 percent compared to May 2024.
The number of domestic tourist (wisnus) trips by destination district/city in May 2025 reached 1,235,577 trips. It decreased by 25.89 percent compared to April 2025. Meanwhile, compared to May 2024, it increased by 33.96 percent.
The Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) for star-classified hotels in East Kalimantan in May 2025 was 52.67 percent, up 1.98 points from April 2025, but down 16.93 points from May 2024.
The ROR for non-star hotels was 24.98 percent, up 1.58 points from April 2025, but down 2.41 points from May 2024.
The average length of stay for star hotel guests was 1.61 days. Foreign guests stayed 2.56 days, domestic guests 1.60 days.
