Welfare Indicators of Kalimantan Timur 1996

The publication of the East Kalimantan People's Welfare Indicators in 1996 is a continuation of the previous publication compiled annually by the East Kalimantan Provincial Statistics Office. This publication presents data collected directly by BPS (Primary Data) and data derived from other agencies (Secondary Data) with the intention of providing an overview of the welfare of the people in East Kalimantan in general. This publication presents basic information covering eight areas, namely Population, Health, Nutrition, Education, Poverty, Distribution of Household Income and Expenditure, Employment, Housing and Environment, and Socio-Culture. Given the breadth of the scope of welfare and the limited data available, this publication was compiled in macro form based on an assessment of the eight areas.
