Poverty Map In Kalimantan Timur 2005

In the publication of the 2005 Map of the Poor Population of Kalimantan Timur, the Regional Development Planning Board of Kalimantan Timur Province in collaboration with the Central Statistics Agency of East Kalimantan Province approached utilizing data from the Population Socio Economic Data Collection (PSE'05), better known as the Poor Household Census. The approach of this activity is very poor households, poor households, and near-poor households with a broad scope to the village / kelurahan level. From this activity, data on the number of poor households and the number of poor people was obtained in October 2005, bearing in mind that the number of households and poor people may still increase along with the verification and improvement of data in Japangan. By obtaining data on the number of households and poor people up to the village level, the mapping of the concentration of poor people can be known more clearly in order to be used as a foothold in poverty alleviation programs on a scale of priority in this area.
