Kalimantan Timur Economic Quarterly Report 2010

Today, many economists and observers of Indonesia's economic development are involved in intense discussions about the importance of "humanizing economic growth" being applied to foster a popular economy in Indonesia. This is expected to trigger awareness of the importance of empowering various levels of society to be pro-actively involved in all economic activities. In the study, it is not uncommon to use various indicators to support arguments or predict future economic prospects. One of the most popular macroeconomic indicators used is the PDB (or PDRB) and the economic growth rate of a region.In an effort to better articulate various economic phenomena occurring in Kalimantan Timur during the quarterly time span, the publication of the Kalimantan Timur Economic Performance Quarterly Report is published. The contents of the report, mainly to inform the dynamics of the development of Kalimantan Timur PDRB figures every quarter, are then supplemented with several other economic and social indicators that are considered relevant during the current quarter.
