Report on the Survey of Samarinda Municipality Retail Rice Sales Volume in 2014

Rice commodity is a basic need of Indonesian people, including in Samarinda Municipality as the capital of Kalimantan Timur Province. Therefore rice has a big enough role and becomes a very important variable in calculating the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and inflation. Considering the type / quality of rice traded and consumed by the community quite a lot, the Central Statistics Agency of Kalimantan Timur Province conducted a Survey of Rice Sales Volume that aims to obtain data on rice sales, especially the type and quality of rice traded and bought by the public. Then the data obtained will be used to calculate the average weighted price of Samarinda Municipality.
