Abstract

In 2016, BPS conducted a complete data collection or listing of the 2016 Economic Census (SE2016). To obtain a more detailed picture of economic activity, in 2017 an Advanced SE2016 was conducted which is a data collection of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMB).Results of the UMK and UMB SE2016 Advanced Data Collection can be used as a basis for policy analysis and formulation. The publication of Potential for Improvement of Micro Small Business Performance is an analysis of the results of the SE2016 Advanced. The purpose of this publication is to provide a description of the characteristics / quality of MSEs 'human resources, capital accessibility conditions and factors that affect the ease of accessing capital, provide an overview of business performance and its determinants in terms of profitability and analyze business prospects based on respondents' perceptions and factors influence it. Thus, potential information that can still be optimized to improve MSE performance can be obtained.
