Welfare Indicators of Kalimantan Timur Province 2019/2020

Publication of Welfare Indicators of Kalimantan Timur Province 2019/2020 is a continuation of the previous publication which is compiled annually by BPS-Statistics of Kalimantan Timur Province. This publication presents data collected directly by BPS through the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas), National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas), Village Potential Census (Podes), and Population Projection 2015-2045 with a view to providing an overview of the welfare state of the people in Kalimantan Timur Province.
This publication presents various aspects of welfare for which data are available and measurable. To facilitate interpretation, changes in the level of welfare are assessed according to aspects of population, health, education, employment, consumption patterns, and housing. In addition to the indicators of people's welfare that are regularly presented, starting in 2020, the presentation of a special topic is also added. The topic of this year's Inkesra publication in Kalimantan Timur Province takes the theme of the Welfare of Workers in Kalimantan Timur. This publication also analyzes the relationship between the number of unemployed and poor people in an area and the relationship between the contribution of gross value added to a business field and the absorption of labor in that sector.
