Current Issues Analysis of Kalimantan Timur Province 2021

Current Issues Analysis of Kalimantan Timur Province 2021 is an annual routine publication of BPS-Statistics of Kalimantan Timur Province. This publication presents several selected themes that become interesting issues in the context of Kalimantan Timur region during 2021, and have the potential to develop in the coming year. The first theme is related to gender issues, entitled Gender Inequality during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The choice of this theme saw the current condition of Kalimantan Timur region which was affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The general picture is that the impact of this pandemic is quite heavy on the vulnerable population, including women. In this chapter, a discussion of the risk of widening inequality between men and women is presented as a result of this pandemic.
