Harvest Area and Rice Production in Kalimantan Timur Province 2022

Integrated Food Crop Agricultural Statistics Data Collection using the Area Sample Frame Method or Pendataan Statistik Pertanian Tanaman Pangan Terintegrasi dengan Metode Kerangka Sampel Area (KSA)is an activity carried out through collaboration between the BPS-Statistics Indonesia with the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT) the National Aeronautics and Space Agency (LAPAN) which has now merged into the Agency National Research and Innovation (BRIN), Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (Ministry of ATR/BPN), and Geospatial Information Agency (BIG). This activity is included in a national project to support the achievement of one of the national priorities, such as food security in the context of improving food statistical data, which began to be implemented nationally in 2018. The main aim of this activity is to produce objective and scientific rice harvest area data, which involves the role of the latest technology, so that the rice production data collected is more accurate, faster, and up to date. The publication of Harvested Area and Rice Production in Kalimantan Province 2022 or Publikasi Luas Panen dan Produksi Padi di Provinsi Kalimantan Timur2022presents the results of KSA data collection for 2022. Apart from that, this report also presents information regarding rice planting potential obtained from field observations.
