Abstract

The publication "Kalimantan Timur Province Human Development Index 2023" presents the HDI figures for Kalimantan Timur Province and its Regency/Municipality, as well as the components of HDI from 2020-2023, namely: life expectancy; expected years of schooling; average years of schooling; and real per capita expenditure per year. HDI is an important indicator to measure the success of efforts to build human quality of life. The achievement of human development in Kalimantan Timur during the period 2010-2023 showed an increase every year. The status of Kalimantan Timur HDI from 2010 to 2023 has been "High".
