Abstract

The publication of the Indonesian Democracy Index of Kalimantan Timur Province 2023 includes IDI data from the measurement results using a new method that has been improved from the previous method. The improvement of the old IDI method was carried out with the consideration that the old IDI method only focused on the political perspective. Meanwhile, the current theory of democracy sees democracy in a broader perspective which includes political, social and economic aspects.
