Investment is an important part of an economy because investment is linked to ongoing economic activities at present and in the future, as stated in Goal 8 of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely encouraging inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
One investment indicator is Gross Fixed Capital Formation (GFCF). Therefore, BPS of Kalimantan Timur Province conducted a 2024 GFCF Disaggregation Preparation Survey which began with online officer training on 13-14 June 2024 and offline at the Harris Samarinda Hotel on 19 June 2024. This activity was attended by all officers from BPS-Statictics of Provincial and regencies/municipalities throughout East Kalimantan as well as participants from the Provincial Government of Kalimantan Timur (OPD).
This training aims to increase officers' understanding of the objectives, concepts and guidelines for conducting data collection, as well as coordination with relevant agencies in the 2024 PMTB Disaggregation Preparation Survey Activity, in order to produce quality data.
