Agricultural Economic Survey (SEP) Surveyor Training 2024

The 2024 Agricultural Economic Survey (SEP) is a series of activities for the 2023 Agricultural Census, which was carried out with the aim of providing accurate and up-to-date agricultural economic data and knowing the welfare of farmers.

In preparation for this activity, BPS Kalimantan Timur Province held SEP Officer Training in 2024. The activity was carried out using the online Distance Learning method on 27-28 May 2024 and continued with offline face-to-face learning on 30-31 May 2024 in Samarinda City and Berau Regency (only participants from Berau Regency).

Also present as National Instructors from BPS RI were Aniisa Rizqi (online class) and Dewi Widyawati (offline class) as well as Regional Instructors from BPS Kalimantan Timur Province. Participants consisted of 10 supervisors and 47 task forces from all regencies/minicipalities in Kalimantan Timur Province.

It is hoped that this training will provide a comprehensive understanding of SEP data collection in order to produce reliable officers.
