RICE, MAIZE AND SOYBEAN PRODUCTION (Forecast Figures II 2013)

Abstract

Forecast Number II (ARAM II) for rice production in 201 3 is estimated at 573 thousand tons of dry milled grain. Compared to 2012 production, there was an increase of 11.4 thousand tons (2.03 percent). The increase in production was due to an increase in productivity from 39.42 ku / ha in 2012 to 40.78 ku / ha in 2013, despite a decline in the harvest area of 1.39 percent or around 2 thousand hectares
The largest estimated increase in rice production in 2013 occurred in Berau, Kutai Kartanegara, Paser and Samarinda Regencies
