Abstract

  • The value of Kalimantan Timur exports in November 2013 reached US $ 2.64 billion, an increase of 10.63 percent compared with the value of exports in October 2013. The interim export figures for December 2013 were estimated at US $ 2.67 billion, an increase of 1, 09 percent compared to November 2013.
  • The value of oil and gas exports in November 2013 reached US $ 1.06 billion, up 6.16 percent compared to the value of oil and gas exports in October 2013, while the value of non oil and gas exports in November 2013 reached US $ 1.58 billion, up by 13.83 percent compared to the value of Non-Oil and Gas exports in October 2013.
  • Temporary figures for the value of oil and gas exports in December 2013 reached US $ 1.12 billion, an increase of 5.54 percent compared to the value of oil and gas exports in November 2013, while the value of non-oil exports in December 2013 reached US $ 1.55 billion or decreased by 1.89 percent compared to November 2013.
  • According to the Goods Group (HS 2 Digits), mineral fuels still play a very large role in the formation of East Kalimantan exports in the January-November 2013 period reaching 93.40 percent or US $ 26.47 billion.
  • According to the destination country, exports to Japan in the January-November 2013 period reached the largest figure of US $ 7.46 billion, followed by China US $ 4.59 billion and the Republic of Korea US $ 3.74 billion with the contribution of the three reaching 55.70 percent .
  • Temporary figures for the value of oil and gas imports in December 2013 reached US $ 0.55 billion, an increase of 17.28 percent compared to the value of oil and gas exports in November 2013, while the value of non-oil exports in December 2013 reached US $ 0.17 billion, an increase of 39.48 percent compared to November 2013
  • According to the Goods Group (HS 2 Digits), mineral fuels still play a big role in the formation of East Kalimantan imports in the January-November 2013 period, reaching 76.06 percent or US $ 6.69 billion.
  • According to the country of origin, imports from Azerbaijan in the January-November 2013 period reached the largest figure of US $ 1.55 billion, followed by Nigeria US $ 1.27 billion and Singapore US $ 0.87 billion with the contribution of the three reaching 40.01 percent.
