Abstract

Kalimantan Timur experienced a 1.23 percent inflation in January 2014, or there was a change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 111.95 in December 2013 to 113.33 in January 2014. So that until January 2014 inflation year on year reached 9.50 percent.

When broken down by city, in January 2014, Samarinda City experienced an Inflation of 1.37 percent, Balikpapan City experienced an Inflation of 1.32 percent and City of Tarakan Inflation of 0.43 percent. Up to January 2014 Samarinda year-on-year inflation reached 10.06 percent, Balikpapan City 8.86 percent and Tarakan City 9.27 percent.
