Consumer Economic Conditions Decline, Marked by a Consumer Tendency Index Value of 96.27

Abstract

The economic condition of consumers in the province of Kalimantan Timur in the third quarter of 2019 experienced a decline marked by the value of the Consumer Tendency Index to 96.27.
The decline in consumer economic conditions in Quarter III-2019 was caused by a decrease in the household income component.
Estimates of the economic conditions of consumers in Quarter IV-2019 are expected to increase when compared to the current quarter conditions marked by the ITK value of 102.05. The household income component is estimated to have increased, but is not accompanied by an increase in durable goods purchase plans.
