March 2020 Exports Reach US $ 1.31 Billion, Imports Reach US $ 301.12 Million

Abstract

The export value of Kalimantan Timur Province in March 2020 reached US $ 1.31 billion, an increase of 4.89 percent compared with exports in February 2020. Meanwhile, when compared to March 2019 it decreased by 13.17 percent.
The value of oil and gas exports in March 2020 reached US $ 136.20 million, down 22.11 percent compared to February 2020. While exports of non-oil goods in March 2020 reached US $ 1.18 billion, up 9.27 percent compared to February 2020.
Cumulatively, the export value of Kalimantan Timur Province in the January-March 2020 period reached US $ 3.81 billion, down 8.05 percent compared to the same period in 2019.
Of all exports from January to March 2020, the role of oil and gas goods exports reached 12.02 percent while the role of non-oil goods exports reached 87.98 percent.
The value of imports in Kalimantan Timur Province in March 2020 reached US $ 301.12 million, an increase of 37.26 percent compared to imports in February 2020. Meanwhile, when compared to March 2019 it increased by 29.40 percent.
March 2020 imports of oil and gas goods reached US $ 222.92 million, up 69.76 percent compared to February 2020. While imports of non-oil goods in March 2020 reached US $ 78.21 million, down by 11.20 percent compared to February 2020.
Cumulatively, the import value of Kalimantan Timur Province in the period January - March 2020 reached US $ 736.77 million, an increase of 13.63 percent compared to the same period in 2019. Of all imports in the January - March 2020 period, the role of oil and gas goods imports reached 63.92 percent while the role of non-oil goods imports reached 36.08 percent.
The trade balance of Kalimantan Timur Province in March 2020 was a surplus of US $ 1.01 billion, a decrease compared to the trade balance in February 2020 which was a surplus of US $ 1.03 billion. Whereas cumulatively, the trade balance of the Province of Kalimantan Timur in the January - March 2020 period was a surplus of US $ 3.07 billion.
