The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) in August 2024 was 138.91 or an increase of 0.76 percent compared to the NTP in July 2024. The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate in August 2024 was 143.01 or an increase of 0.55 percent.

Abstract

The increase in NTP was caused by the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) increasing by 0.71 percent, whereas the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) decreased by 0.05 percent.
NTP August 2024 in each subsector: Food Crop Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPP) of 102.77, Horticulture Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPH) of 114.36, Smallholder Crop Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPR) of 189.28, Exchange Rate Livestock Farmers (NTPT) was 105.15, and the Exchange Rate for Fishermen and Fish Cultivators (NTNP) was 99.55.
In August 2024, there are two subsectors that will experience an increase in NTP, namely the horticulture subsector by 2.60 percent and the smallholder plantation crops subsector by 1.36 percent. On the other hand, three subsectors experienced a decline, namely the food crops subsector by 0.35 percent, the livestock subsector by 1.51 percent, and the fisheries subsector by 0.10 percent.
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in August 2024 was 143.01 or an increase of 0.55 percent compared to the NTUP in July 2024 which was recorded at 142.23. There were two subsectors that experienced an increase in NTUP, namely the horticulture subsector by 2.23 percent and the smallholder plantation subsector by 1.26 percent. On the other hand, three subsectors experienced a decline in NTUP, namely the food crops subsector by 0.64 percent, the livestock subsector by 1.75 percent, and the fisheries subsector by 0.34 percent.

The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) in September 2024 was 139.13 or an increase of 0.16 percent compared to the NTP in August 2024. The NTUP in September 2024 was 143.05 or an increase of 0.03 percent.

The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) in August 2023 was 125.95 or an increase of 0.99 percent compared to the NTP in July 2023.

The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) for December 2024 was 145.35 or an increase of 1.93 percent compared to the NTP in November 2024.
