The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) in September 2024 was 139.13 or an increase of 0.16 percent compared to the NTP in August 2024. The NTUP in September 2024 was 143.05 or an increase of 0.03 percent.

Abstract

  • The increase in NTP was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) decreased by 0.20 percent, while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) decreased by 0.36 percent.
  • September 2024 NTP in each subsector: Food Crop Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPP) of 102.32, Horticulture Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPH) of 110.43, Smallholder Plantation Crop Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPR) of 191.37, Livestock Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPT) of 103.55, and Fishermen and Fish Cultivators Exchange Rate (NTNP) of 100.77.
  • In September 2024, there were two subsectors that experienced an increase in NTP, namely the smallholder plantation crop subsector by 1.10 percent and the fisheries subsector by 1.23 percent. In contrast, three subsectors experienced a decrease, namely the food crop subsector by 0.44 percent, the horticulture subsector by 3.43 percent, and the livestock subsector by 1.52 percent.
  • The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in September 2024 amounted to 143.05 or increased by 0.03 percent compared to the NTUP in August 2024 which was recorded at 143.01. There were two subsectors that experienced an increase in NTUP, namely the smallholder plantation crop subsector by 0.91 percent and the fisheries subsector by 1.44 percent. In contrast, three subsectors experienced a decrease in NTUP, namely the food crop subsector by 0.67 percent, the horticulture subsector by 3.58 percent, and the livestock subsector by 1.62 percent.
