The number of domestic air transportation passengers in April 2025 decreased by 6.84 percent and the number of sea transportation passengers in April 2025 decreased by 3.76 percent from March 2025.

Abstract

The number of domestic air transportation passengers departing in April 2025 was 234,069 people, a decrease of 6.84 percent from March 2025. Meanwhile, the number of passengers for overseas (international) destinations was 4,497 people, an increase of 6.46 percent from March 2025.
The number of domestic air transportation passengers departing in January–April 2025 increased by 1.83 percent compared to the same periode in 2024. Meanwhile, the number of international passengers showing an increase of 40.65 percent.
The number of domestic sea transportation passengers departing in April 2025 was recorded at 78,773 people, a decrease of 3.76 percent from March 2025. In January–April 2025, the number of passengers reached 215,805 people, an increased of 25.78 percent compared to January–April 2024.
The number of goods transported in April 2025 decreased by 1.84 percent from March 2025 to 8,824.84 thousand tons. In January–April 2025, the amount of goods transported reached 34,304.91 thousand tons.

The number of domestic air transportation passengers decreased by 11.90 percent and the number of sea transportation passengers decreased by 19.10 percent in February 2025.

The number of domestic air transportation passengers in August 2024 decreased by 1.49 percent and the number of sea transportation passengers in August 2024 decreased by 5.25 percent from July 2024.

The number of domestic air transportation passengers in May 2024 decreased by 28.05 percent compared to April. The number of sea transportation passengers in May 2024 decreased by 54.80 percent compared to April.

The number of domestic air transportation passengers in Sept 2024 decreased by 0.07 percent and the number of sea transportation passengers in Sept 2024 decreased by 11.20 percent from August 2024.
