Welfare Indicators of Kalimantan Timur 1998

The publication of the 1998 Kalimantan Timur People's Welfare Indicator is a continuation of the previous publication compiled annually by the Central Statistics Agency of Kalimantan Timur Province. This publication presents data collected directly by BPS (Primary Data) and data from other agencies (Secondary Data), with a view to providing an overview of the welfare conditions of the people in East Kalimantan in general. This publication presents basic information covering eight fields, namely Population; Health; Nutrition; Education; Poverty; Household Income and Expenditure Distribution; Employment Housing and the Environment; and Social Culture. Given the wide range of notions of well-being and the limited data available, this publication is compiled in a macro form based on an assessment of the eight fields.
