Current Issues Analysis of Kalimantan Timur Province 2022

Current Issues Analysis of Kalimantan Timur Province 2022 is an annual routine publication of the BPS-Statistics for Kalimantan Timur Province. This publication presents selected themes that will become interesting issues in the context of the Kalimantan Timur region in 2022, and have the potential to develop in the coming year.
The first theme is related to the Influence of Global Economic Dynamics on the Kalimantan Timur Economy. This theme is interesting to discuss regarding the geopolitical tensions between Russia and Ukraine and their impact on the economy of Kalimantan Timur. Kalimantan Timur's economy is an open economy so any changes or shocks that occur in the world economy will also affect the economy of Kalimantan Timur.
The second theme discusses Community Mobility in the Recovery Period of the COVID-19 Pandemic. This theme was chosen to see how far people's mobility has changed during the recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, after previously implementing Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) for some time.
The third theme is entitled Survival Analysis on the Duration of Getting a Job Back During the Covid-19 Pandemic in Kalimantan Timur. The selection of this theme was carried out to see the duration of workers getting back to work after previously being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and to see the factors that influenced workers in Kalimantan Timur to get a job again.
