Abstract

The economy of Kalimantan Timur based on the GRDP based on current prices in the second quarter of 2007 reached Rp. 50.9 trillion, while the GRDP at a constant 2000 price of Rp. 24.7 trillion.

Cumulatively, Kalimantan TimurGRDP during the first 2 quarters (Semester I) of 2007 on the basis of current prices was recorded at Rp. 100.0 trillion, and at constant prices reaching Rp 48.8 trillion.

Kalimantan Timur economic growth in the second quarter of 2007 compared to the first quarter of 2007 (q-to-q) of 2.23 percent, while growth in the second quarter of 2007 compared to the same quarter the previous year (y-on-y) grew by 3, 23 percent.

Cumulatively (c-to-c), Kalimantan TimurGRDP growth in the first quarter to the second quarter (semester I) of 2007 compared to the same period in 2006 grew by 2.30 percent.
