Abstract

The economy of Kalimantan Timur based on the GRDP based on current prices in the first quarter of 2009 was Rp. 69.5 trillion, while the GRDP at constant 2000 prices is Rp. 25.7 trillion.

Kalimantan Timur economic growth in the first quarter of 2009 compared to the fourth quarter of 2008 (q-to-q) experienced a contraction of 0.55 percent, lower than the previous quarter. While growth in the first quarter of 2009 compared to the same quarter the previous year (y-on-y) grew positive 0.30 percent, but slower than the first quarter of 2008 which was positive 6.62 percent
