Abstract

Provisional Figures (ASEM) in 2012 rice production is estimated at 553.44 thousand tonnes of Dry Milled Grain (GKG). Compared to 2011 production, there was an increase of 825 tons (0.15 percent). The increase in production is expected to occur due to an increase in harvested area of more than 474 hectares (0.34 percent).

The relatively large increase in rice production in 2012 occurred in the districts of Bulungan and Berau.
